Three army men – Major Abbas, Captain Omer and Naik Adnan – were injured during a ‘routine sanitisation operation’, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. It said that the exchange of fire with suspected terrorists took place in the Luni Jungle area, eight kilometres south of DI Khan’s Kulachi tehsil. According to the statement, a terrorist affiliated with TTP (Naurang) was killed in the exchange of fire, while eight suspects were also apprehended during a search operation carried out in the area.
