KARACHI: A man was arrested on Friday night after he was allegedly caught trying to kidnap a girl from the city’s Korangi neighbourhood, police reported on Saturday.
The suspect, identified a rickshaw driver, tried to kidnap a 10-year-old girl and attempted to flew with her in his rickshaw.

According to the police, Nazir (the suspect) got caught when minor cried for help and sought the attention of many passersby.
The residents of the area rescued the minor girl, caught the alleged abductor, and beat him up before handing him over to the authorities, police added.
Police apprised that a first information report (FIR) had been filed in this regard.
